An MRI is a magnetic resonance medical imaging technique. Before this type of medical imaging, it is necessary to gather medical, paramedical and personal informations in order to conduct the exam.
Before every appointment, it is mandatory to fill out two different forms: the information and consent form as well as the medical information form. We need to receive those documents as soon as possible before your exam date. Do not hesitate to call us for further information.
For your MRI appointment, please bring with you your social security card (or European Health Insurance Card), the prescription from your doctor, a credit card as well as your idendity card or passport.
Radiography is a medical imaging technique that uses x-rays. It is painless and allows a simple medical exploration in order to come up with a diagnosis. In our medical imaging unit, we are trained to conduct standard x-ray radiographic exams and contrast x-ray radiographic exams: barium swallow, enema, small bowel and IVU.
Scanography is a medical imaging technique which creates accurate and detailed shots of the organism. It uses low intensity x-rays focused on a precise part of the body. In our medical imaging unit, we conduct diagnostic CT scans, with or without injection, as well as CT angiograms.
Ultrasonography exams use ultrasounds emitted by a probe and transmitted inside the tissues that then reflect the ultrasounds to create an image of the examined area. In our medical imaging unit, we can perform a large range of ultrasounds such as abdomen, pelvis, thyroid, soft tissue and also tendons.
For your medical imaging appointment, please bring with you your social security card (or EHIC/GHIC), your ID or passport and your "mutuelle" as well as any other document that is required (see « preparing your consultation »).
